 Rational number


 Natural number - 1.2.3,4,5,6,7,8……..

Number start with 1 is called natural number.


Whole number - 0,1,2,3……

 number start with 0 is called whole number.


 Integer - 4, - 3, - 2 , -1 0 ,1,2,3….

Integer are positive and negative number with zero.



Prime number - 2,3,5…..

Those number which have only two factors 1 and itself.


 Composite number- 4,6,9…….

 those number are not prime number or composite number.


 Even number- 2,4,6,8…….

 number which are divisible by 2 is called even number.


 Odd number - 3,5,7……

 number which are not divisible by 2 is called odd number.


 smallest prime number - 2

 smallest composite number- 4

 smallest odd composite number - 9


 Co- prime number -(4 and 9)....

those numbers that have only one common factor, namely 1. That means a pair of numbers are said to be co prime when they have their highest common factor as 1.
